The Republic of Botswana has received a significant boost to its public health sector with the official handover of a diverse range of medicines from the Republic of Cyprus. The generous donation, which includes critical supplies such as chemotherapy drugs, antibiotics, and pain killers, was formally accepted by Botswana’s Minister of Health, Dr. Stephen Modise.
The handover ceremony saw High Commissioner of Cyprus to Botswana, Mr. Andonis Mandritis, present the much-needed medical supplies to Dr. Modise.
