Botswana Enhances Digital Learning with New Centre at Tewane Primary

In a significant boost to digital education in Botswana, the Minister of Communications and Innovation, Honourable David Tsherere, officially launched a new Digital Centre and Reception Class at Tewane Primary School today. The initiative, proudly sponsored by the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) through the Universal Access and Service Fund (UASF), marks a crucial step in the nation’s drive towards digital transformation and innovation.

Minister Tsherere, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Mahalapye West, officiated the handover, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital age. The newly constructed and fully equipped digital centre aims to empower students with essential digital skills, enhancing their learning experience and preparing them for the demands of the modern world.
