This groundbreaking initiative is spearheaded by Lone Threads in a strategic alliance with the global leader IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited) and the nation’s own research engine, the National Agricultural Research and Development Institute (Nardi). This collective effort, hailed by President Duma Gideon Boko and Minister Edwin Dikoloti as a crucial milestone, is set to transform farming practices across the country by introducing smarter, more efficient tools to empower local farmers. The partnership leverages IFFCO’s world-leading technology for its organic nano fertilisers, Lone Threads’ role in driving the local initiative, and Nardi’s essential function as a Research Technology Organization under the Ministry of Agriculture, ensuring the technology is locally adapted and validated for Botswana’s unique soil and climate conditions.
